Administrative Analyst
Ruth joined the Office of the Ombudsman for United Nations Funds and Programmes as an Administrative Analyst in August 2024. Previously, she served as Executive Associate for the Office of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), where she worked in operations, program management, and research and data analysis in the field of financial inclusion. Prior to her time at the United Nations, she held roles in administration, project management, and communications at Fordham University and the Girl Scouts. Ruth holds a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Albany. She is originally from Peru and has lived and studied in the US, UK, and UAE. In her free time, Ruth enjoys cooking, drawing, painting, and traveling.
