James Claxton is an Ombudsperson Specialist based in Copenhagen.
James has nearly 20 years of experience in dispute resolution including roles as mediator, arbitrator, attorney, and academic. He worked with the United States Agency for International Development and the International Finance Corporation on mediation capacity-building projects. James has served as Co-Chair of the International Bar Association Mediation Committee and as a member of the board of the University of Strathclyde Mediation Clinic. His publications on mediation appear in the Asian Journal on Mediation, The Journal of World Trade, and the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal.
