“Juan Felipe Carrillo is a certified mediator and expert in Peacebuilding, Anti-Discrimination, and Diversity & Inclusion. He holds a BA in History and a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po Lyon, with research focused on inclusion, exclusion, and recognition.
Juan Felipe has worked as Conflict Resolution Officer at the United Nations Ombudsman and Mediation Services Office in Nairobi, as well as Peacebuilding Trainer and Dispute Resolution Advisor supporting communities in the Horn of Africa and Colombia. His professional background also includes extensive university-level teaching experience in France, Germany, Spain, and Colombia.
He supports both individuals and communities in navigating conflict, addressing collective challenges, and fostering meaningful dialogue. His work is driven by a strong commitment to social impact, helping organisations promote well-being through conflict transformation, nonviolence, inclusion, education, and a culture of dignity and kindness.”
