Learning and Development Coordinator
Maria Migoya Fernandez is a lawyer from Spain and has an LLM (Master of Laws) in International and European Law from the University of Brussels. Maria serves as our Learning and Development Coordinator, overseeing the training and outreach activities and leading the Respectful Workplace Facilitator Programme. Previously, Maria held the role of Mediation and Conflict Resolution Officer in our office, supporting the Mediation Unit and covering Ombuds cases in Latin America and the Caribbean from Panama. Her background includes experience in programme management at the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism in Spain, in Human Resources at UNICEF and in the Department of Management of the United Nations Secretariat in New York.
