Mediation Editor Consultant
Mary B. Trevor is a Mediation Editor Consultant for the Office of the Ombudsman for UN Funds and Programmes. She is also an Emerita Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Minnesota and a freelance legal editor. Mary earned her A.B. summa cum laude at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and her J.D. at Yale Law School in Connecticut. She started her career as a business litigator at Leonard, Street and Deinard (now Stinson Leonard Street) in Minnesota. After leaving practice, she taught Legal Research and Writing (LRW) at several Minnesota law schools, ultimately directing the LRW department at Hamline University School of Law, now Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
While at Hamline, Mary turned her interest in mediation to editing and has edited numerous domestic and international ADR publications as well as other legal publications. She brings her interests in writing and editing, along with her pleasure in working with a great team, all together in her work for the UN.
