Camilo Azcarate is an international dispute resolution expert with 25 years of experience as ombudsperson mediator, facilitator and trainer working for public, private and international organizations. He is the current Ombuds at the European Southern Observatory (ESO). Previously, he was the manager the office of mediation services for the World Bank and the lead ombudsperson for Princeton University.
Camilo teaches graduate-level courses at Columbia University and was a fellow at Harvard University’s Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from Universidad Javeriana, a Masters in Corporate Law (LLM) from Universidad San Buenaventura, a Masters in Dispute Resolution (MA) from the University of Massachusetts and a Certificate in Equal Employment from Cornell University.
Camilo speaks Spanish and English fluently.
