The Respectful Workplace Facilitators (RWF) programme is an initiative dedicated to building capacity in conflict prevention and resolution at the local level in country and regional offices.\u00a0 Globally between UNDP, UNFPA, and UN Women there are 79 participating offices and over 100 RWFs.\u00a0 The RWF programme is modelled after similar successful programmes at the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and more recently the International Organization for Migration and the World Food Programme.\u00a0 RWFs practice the same principles as the Office of the Ombudsman, Independence, Neutrality, Confidentiality and Informality.\u00a0 The protection of Confidentiality afforded to the Office of the Ombudsman, is extended to RWFs.<\/p>\n

Francophone RWF Training – December 2022, Abidjan, Ivory Coast<\/p><\/div>\n

RWFs are nominated by and voted into the volunteer collateral duty role by colleagues in the office and are rigorously trained and supervised by the Office\u2019s RWF programme team.\u00a0 RWFs are trained in listening, asking questions, and other aspects of conflict coaching.\u00a0 The training is fully immersive and experiential.\u00a0 After the training is completed, RWFs have opportunities to continue their learning with the online Masterclasses, and regional meetings.<\/p>\n
